Legend / Graphic OptionsInsert MoldingGraphics are molded into the key in a two stage process thereby providing excellent durability and cosmetic appeal. Tooling is available for over 50,000 unique graphic images. Custom legends can be easily produced from customer supplied artwork or sketches. Pad PrintingGraphics are surface printed using a highly durable two-part epoxy ink. Front face printing identifies multi-functional keys. Applying a clear hard coat is an optional process for prolonging graphic life. Sublimation PrintingSublimation printing is a dry ink diffusion process in which specially formulated dyes penetrate the surface of the keycap. It is an excellent option for printing multi-color graphics and for printing multiple parts within a single printing cycle. Paint and EngravingIdeal for back lighted keyboard applications. Keycaps are molded in a translucent material and then painted with an industrial grade enamel. Legends are engraved through the paint exposing the translucent base material. |
